No film for Kareena Kapoor-Ranbir Kapoor together under Zoya Akhtar’s direction

It was reported that cousins from the Kapoor family, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor are supposed to star together in a film, being directed by filmmaker Zoya Akhtar. But the filmmaker has herself confirmed that no such project is in the making as of now.

Zoya, who debuted with critically acclaimedLuck By Chanceand rocked the box-office withZindagi Na Milegi Dobara, stated, "I am not making a film with Kareena and Ranbir right now. I haven't finished my script yet. The minute it happens, I will let you know. I am writing a script for a family drama right now."

On casting her brother Farhan Akhtar in her next project, 39-year-old Zoya said, "I don't know whether he is going to be in all my films because I don't want to cast him in all my movies and he is not going to say yes to every film that I am going to offer to him. I would like to keep working with him. He is my producer.” She added more on Farhan, "I love him as an actor, so I would love to keep working with him, but I hope it happens. But he is an actor he can say no to me.”
