Not Because of Farhan Akhtar, This Is Why Kriti Sanon Backed Out Of ‘Lucknow Central’

Lately, rumours were doing rounds that 'Mirzya' actress Saiyami Kher has been roped in place of Kriti Sanon for Ranjit Tiwari's ‘Lucknow Central’. But did you know why?  According to the grapevine, Kriti Sanon backed out of the project because she did not want to work with Farhan Akhtar who is playing a lead role.

When Kriti Sanon heard the rumours, she took a stance and slammed all the media reports. During a chat with a leading daily, the 26-year-old actress said, "Not true at all. I was very excited about doing Lucknow Central as it is a really good script. My decision to opt out had nothing to do with Farhan. Unfortunately, the shooting schedule of the film got changed and because of some of my prior commitments I had no option but to opt out of the film. I look forward to working with Farhan in the future".

Coming to ‘Lucknow Central’, it is a crime drama comedy film. Nikhil Advani has been roped in to produce the film. However, there were buzzes that Akshay Kumar will be essaying a lead role. But Nikhil Advani has denied the rumours. The film is slated to hit the silver screens next year. Desimartini wishes that the movie sails smooth at the box office.
