After making it big in Pakistan, where he started out on Pakistani TV, actor Ali Zafar then moved to India to try his luck in Bollywood. And despite being a Pakistani, the actor scaled the heights of superstardom in Bollywood. His success led many Pakistani artists venture into Hindi cinema.

Ali started his career in Bollywood with ‘Tere Bin Laden’ and went on to do films like ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, ‘Chashme Baddoor’, ‘Kill Dil’. He was recently seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dear Zindagi’. After, the singer-cum-actor achieved success in the Hindi film industry, it was reported that his younger brother, Danyal Zafar, too is following his elder brother’s footsteps.

Yes, Danyal was supposed to make his debut in Bollywood with Yash Raj's upcoming film, ‘Qaidi Band’ to be directed by Habib faisal.  However, his aspirations were put down when the Indian government decided to put a ban on Pakistani artists performing in India following the Uri attacks last year. So after not getting entry in India, Danyal decided to go a la his elder brother. Like his bro, he is a singer too and is preparing to make his debut in the upcoming season of Pakistan Coke Studio. Danyal thinks that Coke Studio is the biggest platform to reach out to millions of people.
