When asked how hard is for him to collaborate with someone like Abhijat Joshi as his scripting associate since Raju is too specific about it, the filmmaker said, “Abhijat (Joshi, the writer) is like a brother to me because our thinking is very similar. We have made some rules for ourselves – the first is that the script should be inspired from life. Also, we have to find something unique to talk about,” he added.
