Now Salman to take on a world tour to promote ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’

After Shahrukh Khan’s super successful ‘Slam’ world tour helped him promote Happy New Year and flatter his overseas audience, it may now be Salman Khan performing for his audiences in the international arena. According to reports, Sooraj Barjatya is planning a large scale promotional world tour to promote their film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.

Since all the Salman Khan collaborations with Rajshri has yielded huge profits for the makers from the overseas, the producers are making sure they do not miss a shot this time too. A source close to the production revealed, "Ever since the film's release date has been announced, there has been a constant flow of requests from organisers asking the film's team to come and perform." The source also added that the previous record of success is making them take on the world tour. "Sooraj and Salman's past collaborations have been major hits, especially amongst the NRI population across the globe. This led them to consider doing a world tour with the entire cast of the film,” he added.

Salman Khan who solo debuted with Sooraj’s ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ still credits him to be his favourite filmmaker to date. The two have come together to create some family gems like Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Hum Sath Sath Hain. Salman hasn’t worked with Sooraj in the last 15 years hence Prem Ratan Dhan Payo comes as a hugely awaited prospect that all his fans are waiting for. The film stars Sonam Kapoor and has Salman playing a double role. The movie will release on Diwali next year.
