OMG – Oh My God! Sequel: Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal To Be Back

Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal are all set to recreate the magic of their chemistry on-screen as grapevine is abuzz with rumours that the duo will return to the big screen for the sequel of ‘OMG – Oh My God!’. A source to Hindustan Times has revealed, “Akshay will start shooting for the sequel early next year. All the other details, including the script, are being worked upon”.

The source further added that Paresh Rawal has also been roped in for the project and he will be seen reprising his role from the original movie. It is said that Akshay and Ashvini Yardi have joined hands to produce the film. Umesh Shukla, who helmed the original film, is however unlikely to be on board for the sequel.

“They (Akshay and Ashvini) are still in the process of finalising the director, which will be announced in a few weeks’ time. Akshay is excited about the core idea of the film. Although the duo (Akshay and Ashvini) was being pressurised for a long time [for a sequel], they didn’t want to give in until they found a solid idea”, added the source, declining the rumours of fallout between Akshay and Ashvini.
