OMG - Oh My God!’s sequel won’t be directed by Umesh Shukla?

Akshay Kumar starrer last year release, OMG - Oh My God! might not feature Umesh Shukla as the director of its second part. A source said, “There is a plan for the sequel. This time Paresh Rawal will be taking on the politicians in Mumbai. But the film won’t have Umesh helming the film as he’s busy directing Bhushan Kumar’s next film starring Asin and Abhishek Bachchan. He has a five-film deal with T-Series so there’s no way he can do any other film for the next five years.”

It seems that Umesh is too busy with other projects that he won’t get time to film the sequel. The head honcho of T-series, Bhushan Kumar said, “Umesh’s next five films are with me. Only after completing that can he do anything else as it’s an exclusive deal with us. It will take four years to complete all these films.” No further details were revealed by the makers about the flick as the sequel is still at its pre-production stage.
