Bigger the promotions, bigger becomes the chances of their becoming blockbusters at the box-office. Akshay Kumar has opted for something very different this time to promote his upcoming film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again. It will be promoted during the Indo-Pak Champions Trophy match in U.K.

On June 15 the actor will attend the much-awaited match in Birmingham. He will also cut his current New York vacation short for the promotions. Being a real-life fan of the game of cricket, Akshay plays a powerful don in OUATIMA where he influences a cricket match with his power. Based in the era of 80s, the film will portray the star as a cricket-loving gangster and to suit the film’s cricket-based plot, it seems to be a great idea to promote the film on a cricket field.

Balaji Motion Pictures’ CEO Tanuj Garg issued a statement saying, "As a company known for pushing the envelope on marketing, we will have our Shoaib attending the India-Pakistan match at Edgbaston. Cricket is a perfect fit with his character in the film, as evidenced in the film's first trailer as well.” The Milan Luthria-directed film also stars Imran Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonali Bendre. It will hit the theatres on August 15. The wait begins for the gangster to hit the world with his enigma from now onwards.
