Neither Shah Rukh Khan Nor Alia Bhatt But Only These Three Bollywood Celebs Knew About Karan Johar’s Twins!

Karan Johar took the media by storm when he announced that he is now a proud parent of twins, Yash and Roohi through surrogacy. He kept this secret so well hidden that people in his office or in his friend circle were unaware about the development. However, gossip mills are churning out rumours that only three of his friends knew about this surrogacy and they were Gauri Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Manish Malhotra.

An actor close to the director said, “I knew he wanted to have children some day, but I had no idea he was bringing his babies home this soon. Now that I think of it, Karan was not his usual self. He kept excusing himself frequently. But for those who had no idea, they couldn’t have guessed”. People at his office were also surprised with this sudden announcement as no one knew there too.

As per a unit member from his latest released flick Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, “Over the last few years, he was getting increasingly lonely. He even brought home a pup, Nobu, last year. Though constantly surrounded by friends, who are no less than family, he craved kids of his own. I found out about the surrogacy last December. When I asked Karan, all he said was that I must keep it a secret. We all adore him and respect his wishes”.  

On a related note, the director is all geared up with his upcoming flick, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, where he has bankrolled the project.
