An order is reserved by a Delhi Court on the criminal complaint lodged against megastars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan on Wednesday. The allegation was to hurt the religious sentiments by entering the sets of a temple wearing shoes while shooting for reality show “Bigg Boss 9” where an idol can be seen in the background. The promo was telecast on December 10 in which the actors were seen together on television after many years.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vandana Jain reserved the verdict after hearing arguments of the complainant who questioned the Action Taken Report (ATR) filed by Delhi Police in which both the actors were given a clean chit. The complaint was lodged by Advocate Gaurav Gulati under sections 295A, 298 and 34 of IPC. Despite, the report which was forwarded by SHO of Roop Nagar Police Station said that no cognizable offence is made and the promo was not shot to disturb the sentiments of a religious place or disturb or hurt the religious sentiments of any individual, group, community or section of the society.

Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting for his upcoming action thriller film ‘Raees’. The movie also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan in the lead roles. On the other hand, Salman Khan is awaiting the release of ‘Sultan’ which is set to hit the theatre this Eid.
