Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently revealed the first look of his much awaited film ‘Padmavati’, featuring Deepika Padukone in an intense look. By looking at the poster, it is clear that the movie will hit the theatres on December 1. However, ‘Padmavati’s’ release date has disappointed director Umesh Shukla, whose ‘102 Not Out’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor is also releasing on the same date.

Soon after the team of ‘102 Not Out’ got to know about ‘Padmavati’s’ release date, they were taken back by surprise as they had announced their film’s release date a long time back. “We had announced our release date months ago. Padmavati was supposed to release on 17 November. So we thought our film was safe. Now suddenly they postpone their film by two weeks with no thought for our inconvenience,” said one of the member of ‘102 Not Out’.

Another member of the team said, “The initial response was to take them on. But then we decided to not ruin our chances, or theirs. We will come on a different date.” So now to insure that ‘Padmavati’ does not hamper their business, Umesh’s team has decided to release their movie on some other date.
