‘Paresh Rawal Reminded Me Of My Father’, Says Payal Ghosh

Payal Ghosh is primarily a Telugu actress, who is currently working with a notable Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal. They are playing an adorable father-daughter duo in an upcoming B-town film, ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi’. This project is being helmed by Sanjay Chhel and also features Rishi Kapoor, Vir Das and Prem Chopra.

Payal shared that she shares a close relation with her on-screen father Paresh Rawal. She says, “Pareshji is a nice human being and we share a good rapport. In fact, I never felt that I was acting with him because he reminded me of my own father. We were shooting a sequence in which we had an argument because I wanted to do something and he was stopping me from doing it. I could relate it to the time when I told my dad that I wanted to be an actress and he was dissuading me because he was quite protective.”

The 66-year-old versatile actor speaks about her co-star, “Payal is hardworking and is here to make her mark. She doesn’t take things for granted.” The movie is likely to hit the emotional chord of father-daughter duo. Bharat Patel is bankrolling this project that will bring Rishi and Paresh together for the first time in 20 years.
