Well, both Pari and Bhumi were both employed with YRF in various departments, when YRF decided to launch them as actors. We all know that Pari was working with the public relations department of the YRF, when she got her break with Yash Raj Film. She bagged a three-film deal with the production house and made her debut with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.

And here’s Bhumi, who had been working with Yash Raj for the past six years when she was cast in the film. Acording to a source, “She has been instrumental in casting of a lot of actors. For the role of the female protagonist in Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bhumi took over 100 auditions. The auditions for the part went on for a long time and Bhumi herself auditioned a lot of girls for the part. Finally, she herself was cast in the role she was auditioning people for. The director of the film, Sharat Kataria, felt she was apt for it. So he asked her to play the role opposite actor Ayushmann Khurrana.”
