Parineeti Chopra Shares Her Thoughts On The Industry

Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana can be seen on the big screen in ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ which has been directed by Akshay Roy. The actress was on a break from the silver screen for around 2 and a half years which, according to Parineeti, isn’t true. In a recent interview with a leading daily, the actress shared her thoughts on the industry and how it treats its celebrities.

Explaining her hiatus, the actress said that this duration that the industry has labeled as her absence, is not correct. She said that her absence was only for 10 months and that she shot the song for ‘Dishoom’, went on the Dream Tour and was shooting ads. “I know this industry is like 'Three days she is not in news, oh she's done'. But never did anybody write me off. I pride myself for the goodwill I earned for the work I did in the first three years”, she added.

When asked why she took this so called break, she revealed that it was for discovering herself and finding out what works for her and what she excels at. She was also working on her fitness during this time. “I really had some health issues and had to see a lot of doctors”, Parineeti explained.

The Ishaqzaade actress also spoke about being part of ‘Golmaal Again’ and said that within two days, she became part of that mad team.
