    PeeCee loses seven kilos for Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do

    Bollywood bombshell Priyanka Chopra, who is currently working on Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do, had to lose seven kilos for her role as a businesswoman in the film. Prior to this, the actress was working on a biopic on Mary Kom which apparently required her to get a muscular physique. Hence, the move from a boxing ring to a businesswoman from a Punjabi family was probably not easy for Priyanka.

    Last year, Priyanka Chopra got trained by boxer Jharna Sanghvi for her role in the biopic. When contacted, Jharna says, "It's usually not easy and advisable to cut down six-seven kilos in just 15-20 days. But boxers can lose that much in about 20 days with the right weight training and activities like skipping, running and a controlled their diet because they are trained for it. Priyanka did just that." Priyanka also had to follow a strict diet. "Priyanka's diet included a lot of carbohydrates then. So her weight shot up. And from the day she completed her shoot, I put her on a proteinrich diet and eliminated carbohydrates. Regular exercises and running for at least 30 minutes helped too," says Jharna.

    Apart from Priyanka Chopra, Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do also features Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar in the lead roles. The movie revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise trip and is expected to hit theatres on June 5.
