    Pellichoopulu's Tamil remake is called Pon Ondru Kanden

    The official Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster Pellichoopulu has been titled Pon Ondru Kanden. The movie will feature Vishnu Vishal and Tamannaah Bhatia playing the lead roles, marking the former’s first collaboration with an A-list actor as his romantic interest.




    To be produced by Gautham Menon under his home banner Ondraaga Entertainment, the project will be directed by Senthil Veerasamy, a longtime associate of Gautham Menon, who also plays the antagonist in Dhanush’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thota.

    Senthil Veerasamy is also known for producing the critically acclaimed heist thriller Raja Thandiram under the banner White Bucket Productions. He also plans to helm Raja Thandiram 2, the sequel to the first installment which received rave reviews from across the board.




    “The makers have made important changes in the Tamil version to suit the sensibilities of Tamil audiences, especially in the second half. The team is currently in the process of finalizing the supporting cast and crew,” informs a source to HT.
