    The Golden Globe-nominated actor from The Master, Philip Seymour Hoffman is finally liberated from his love for drugs. As confirmed by People, he has undergone an entire 10 days session at the rehabilitation centre to get rid off heroin.

    While talking to TMZ.com the Academy Award-winning Capote star thanked "a great group of friends and family" who came forward to help him out in his trying times. The 45-year-old actor also confessed that starting with prescription drugs he slowly shifted to inhaling heroin. After staying clear for last 23 years, the bad habit infected him only last year, as told by the acclaimed actor. Married to costume designer Mimi O'Donnell since 1999, Hoffman is father to three children. He will be next seen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire which will release in November.
