Politicians Are Objecting Saying They Will Take Legal Action Against Me: Madhur Bhandarkar

Filmmaker Madhur Bhadarkar is known for making films based on real life. All his movies like Corporate, Satta, Traffic Signal have shown the darker side of the world. While we get fascinated by the glamorous life of Bollywood, his movies such as Page 3, Fashion and Heroine showed the ruthless world of this glittering industry.

And now he is gearing up for his upcoming film Indu Sarkar, which is based on the period of Emergency in India. Ever since the movie has been announced, it has found itself in the midst of controversy. The trouble for the movie increased more once the trailer was released.

And now we have heard that the flick will undergo some changes so that no problems arises once it is released. “There are many objections. The politicians have not seen the movie. They have only seen the trailer, and they are objecting saying they will take legal action against me. But then the final decision on what to retain in the film and what to edit will only happen once the film is censored,” says Bhandarkar.

Though he is not perturbed about the entire hubbub regarding the movie, but he is concerned about filmmakers not getting equal opportunities as others who have written articles or made documentaries on Emergency.
