Choreographer turned actor/director Prabhudheva had recently met Tamil director Vijay and discussed a possible idea to team up for the sequel to their hit horror-comedy film ‘Devi(L)’. The film was a decent hit in Tamil Nadu whereas the Hindi and Telugu versions, Tutak Tutak Tutiya and Abhinetri, had bombed at the box office.

Tamannaah Bhatia is likely to reprise her role in the sequel. “Lately, Tamannaah and Prabhudheva share a good equation. After Devi, they are currently working on the Hindi remake of Nayanthara’s Kolayuthir Kaalam,” said a source close to the development. HT has learnt that Prabhu Deva is impressed with Tamannaah’s dedication, especially by the way she rehearses for dance sequences and how she works hard to get her lines right.

Touted to be a psycho thriller, Chakri Toleti is directing the Tamil and Telugu versions of Kolayuthir Kaalam. Prabhudheva is currently busy with the shoot of comedy entertainer Yung Mung Sung, where he will be seen playing a Kung Fu master.
