Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a ‘pure love story’, says Sonam Kapoor

Overwhelmed by the response for her performance in Dolly Ki Doli, actress Sonam Kapoor is currently having a time she would have perhaps hoped to enjoy a couple years back. After the positive and successful run of her last release Khoobsurat, the actress is gearing up well for a brighter 2015.

Now that she shares screen with Salman Khan in a complete lead mode, she feels she has done enough comedy for the moment. Currently shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sonam Kapoor told that the film is a pure love story. In an interview to a leading website, Sonam said that after Khoobsurat and Dolly Ki Doli, maybe it’s time for her to go slow on comedies so she braces up for the family romance drama alongside Salman.

"I think I've done enough comedy in my last two films, and also in a portion of Raanjhana which was otherwise a dramatic film. My next release is Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a pure love story. This will be followed by The Battle Of Bittora which is a romantic comedy," she said. The Rajshri project will hit the screens later this year. Let’s see how people like it this time.
