Priyanka Chopra Plays Negative Roles Better: Dwayne Johnson

Speculations have been rife that Priyanka Chopra has bagged a role in upcoming Hollywood film ‘Baywatch’ and a few days back the official announcement came through a video posted by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on Instagram. About Priyanka, who will be seen playing villain Victoria Leeds in the movie, Dwayne Johnson says that she plays negative roles better. He wrote in a Tweet, “She's (Priyanka) cool, but does bad even better. Can't wait”.

Talking about her co-star, Priyanka Chopra told Hindustan Times, “He’s great. He’s someone who really understands what the business of cinema is and I really admire that. Again, he’s someone who comes from a completely different career path and he’s now a movie star. I admire that”, and added, “It was fun getting to know him. It was the first time I met him in Miami”.

About how she bagged the project, Priyanka said, “I met the director actually on Skype. The script had come to me through my agent and the negative part was actually written for a man, and I spoke to the director for another role in the film. And he liked the idea of me playing the negative role despite being a woman. So the script was worked on”.
