Protest in Jaipur against Khiladi 786’s song Hookah Bar

While theHookah Barsong of Akshay Kumar’s much-hyped upcoming releaseKhiladi 786has become an immediate favourite of the young brigade, many has problems with some words of the song. On Thursday over a hundred people turned up outside the hotel where Akshay, who is in the city to promote the film, was staying to protest against the song saying it promotes smoking.

According to a source, "The protestors had also an issue with the wordsSher ka shikaarin the song. Also, they felt there was no need for him to promote hookah bars. Akshay went to meet them and explained thatSher ka shikaarhad nothing to do with the hunting of the tiger. He told them that the linesTeri akhiyon ka vaar, Jaise sher ka shikaarclearly meant that the girl's gazes were like a tiger hunting his victim.Sher jaise shikaar karta hai, waise tere akhiyon ka vaar hai." About ‘hookah bar’ he said, that in the song, his character is comparing the girl's love to an intoxicant.Tere pyaar ka nasha is like Hookah Bar, which gives me a high.The protestors later understood his viewpoint and left the premises, the source added.
