Quantico makes Priyanka nervous

The multi-faceted personality, Priyanka Chopra, is feeling nervous ahead of her first American TV show, Quantico. Quantico trailer has already been highly appreciated, but the actress seems to be having butterflies in her stomach as the time for its release is drawing near. The American thriller television series will be aired in September on ABC, as a part of the 2015-15 television series.

 The Fashion actress said, “I hope people like it and it does well. But, it’s still new to me and I’m not sure if the world is ready for it. I’m very nervous about that”. She will be seen playing the role of FBI traninee, Alex Weaver. With Quantico, she has become the first Indian to be roped in for the female lead role in American television series.

The 32-year-old National Film Award winning actress was very sure that she will not play a stereotypical Indian on the show. The former Miss World is quite hopeful about the project, as it might help in opening up various opportunities for Indians abroad. She said, “I hope ‘Quantico’ opens a lot more doors for Indian talent, not just in acting but for musicians and directors as well”.
