After getting massive success at the box office, Vikas Bahl’s Queen is all set to be remade in Chinese. The movie which hit theatres on March 7, 2014 starred Kangana Ranaut, Lisa Haydon and Rajkumar Rao in lead roles and grossed Rs. 60 crore domestically.

The film was premiered at Busan International Film Festival in October 2013, where many producers expressed their interest in remaking it. Last month, reports emerged that the comedy drama flick might be remade in Tamil and Telugu but the latest buzz states that Rani from Rajouri is also interested in speaking Chinese. Although Bahl would not be directing any of these, however he will be creatively involved with these films also.

"There's a Rani in every corner of the world which is why this story found takers everywhere. For some strange reason, a lot of people at Busan fest asked us if it was a Korean film. That's when it struck us that it's a universal story. And so, when a couple of producers approached us, we gave the remakes a go-ahead," says Vikas, who is eagerly waiting to know who will be the ‘Queen’ in these remakes.
