Raanjhanaa is a straight from the heart film says producer Krishika Lulla

Krishika Lulla,the producer of his upcoming film Raanjhanaa,is quite happy with the cast. Mega star of Tollywood, Dhanush and actress Sonam Kapoor, who are playing lead roles in the film, make a perfect pair. WithRaanjhanaa, Dhanush will be making his debut in Bollywood. Krishika comments on the cast, "We needed a non-stereotypical lead pair forRaanjhanaa. Dhanush was a decision made on instinct. We were also looking for someone like Sonam who had great screen presence and made for a beautiful yet grounded character. This is a straight-from-the heart film."

Sonam Kapoor portrays a girl who is real and desirable. The directorAanand L.Raicomments about the actress that Sonam was the exact choice. She gave a glimpse of thecharacteristic trait of a girl who is high on emotions and remained unattainable to the boys. He further commented,"After Tanu Weds Manu, I had the opportunity of signing some of the biggest names in Bollywood, but I knew right from the scripting stage that my hero had to be Dhanush. I stand vindicated because the trailer has hit the bull's eye. My only concern was the language barrier, but Dhanush bowled me over with his dedication."

The movie stars Abhay Deol along with the lead actors. The music for the film will be composed by the Academy Award winner AR Rahman. Raanjhanaa is scheduled to hit the screens on June21.
