Raaz Franchise Coming To An End?

It seems like the Raaz franchise will be coming to an end with the upcoming ‘Raaz Reboot’. The movie has been directed by Vikram Bhatt and the first film, which came out back in 2002, was directed by Vikram as well. The franchise, which includes four films, has been produced by the Bhatts who are now planning to draw the curtain on the series.

Mahesh Bhatt spoke about the franchise and shared, “This series, which has nourished and sustained us for 14 years, has finally come to its glorious end. 'Raaz Reboot' is by far the finest human take that has been woven into the horror genre by Vikram Bhatt”. He added, “We have always had stories of human angst and relationships. 'Raaz' (2002) was not about just being married, but what it means to be married. 'Raaz' 3 (2012) was about someone who doesn't give up fame and refuses to fade away”.

He also spoke about the upcoming ‘Raaz Reboot’ and revealed that the movie shows “how secrets can be the enemy of love”. Mahesh remembered an incident from the screening of the first film, which was attended by Paul McCartney. While leaving, Paul was humming the song ‘Aapke pyaar mein hum savarne lage’ and also called Bipasha Basu to compliment her.
