Raees Teaser: Shah Rukh Reminds of Darr, Baazigar

After playing the eternal love boy for so long, Shah Rukh Khan, for the very first time, is essaying the role of a badass don in his upcoming Raees. The first teaser of the film, which released yesterday, showcases the King Khan transforming from a bootlegger to a Neta, and finally a godfather by the end of the teaser. “Baniye ka dimaag aur Miyanbhai ki daring”, is written prominently on the poster and is also highlighted in the teaser.

Shah Rukh’s character in the film is called Miyanbhai. Not only the character but also the look of the star is different from the roles that he has portrayed in the past. He will be seen donning pathani kurtas in Raees. Wearing kajal in his eyes and taabiz around the neck, SRK is all set to shock the audiences with his new avatar.

Helmed by Rahul Dholakia, the film also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. By the trailer, the film doesn’t look like a love-affair. The Chennai Express star isn’t running after love but success. The film is all set to hit the theatres on Eid next year.
