Rajesh Khanna's companion sends legal notice to his family

While the family of Rajesh Khanna is deep in sorrow following the death of the Bollywoods original superstar, they received a legal notice from Kakas companion of his last years -- Anita Advani. Advani has alleged that Khannas family members are trying to oust her from the veteran actors Bandra bungalow Aashirwad where she has been living for the past eight years. She has reportedly sent the legal notice, which invokes the Domestic Violence, on Tuesday to safeguard herself against her eviction from the property. Under the Section 19 of the Domestic Violence Act, the grieved person cannot be evicted from the shared household, whether or not the respondent has a legal or equitable interest in the shared household. According to a close source, "For the last one month, the family has been trying to oust Advani from the house, where she claims she has been living with Khanna for the last eight years. This is why she sent the notice." Anita recently told in an interview, "He (Rajesh Khanna) had started pushing me away. There were days where he didn't even want to speak to his own family. They began isolating me, and I had begun to feel lost. I sent that notice when I was annoyed without him, I had nowhere else to go. But I never thought I would actually lose him. The timing was really bad." However, Khanna's family members estranged wife Dimple Kapadia, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle and Rinke -- were not available for commenting on the issue.
