    Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 is one of the most awaited movies of the year. The flick, which is a sequel to Rajinikanth’s Robot, is all set to have a Diwali release. However, the movie is still raking in huge amount even before its release.

    Earlier, Robot 2.0 has earned a prodigious Rs 110 crore from its satellite rights and now the flick’s Hindi theatrical rights have been sold for a colossal amount. If reports are to be believed, the Hindi theatrical rights of the flick have been sold for Rs 80 crore. As per a source, “2.0 makers wanted over Rs 100 crore. But the distributors weren’t too keen on paying the exorbitant amount because that would make the film risky. The exhibitors are sure that they won’t lose money on the price, since Akshay’s presence will give it a pan-India reach”.

    The last we heard about the flick was that the film will release in 15 languages. Akshay Kumar plays the antagonist and Amy Jackson as the female lead in the flick. Made on a budget of 450 crore, the film emerged as the most expensive Indian film made till date.
