Rajukmar Santoshi signs Ajay Devgn for ‘Fateh Singh’

The ‘jodi’ of Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi has given us some truly gripping films like The Legend Of Bhagat Singh and Halla Bol. As the duo hasn’t really worked together since 2008, here comes a project that finally marks their reunion. According to reports, Santoshi has signed Ajay for his upcoming film ‘Fateh Singh’.

Ajay who shifted track to considering scripts following a delay in his directorial ‘Shivaay’, has apparently signed as many as three films. The list of films includes Nishikant Kamat’s Drishyam remake, Milan Luthria’s Baadshaho and now Santoshi’s Fateh Singh. The director had in fact written the film keeping Sunny Deol in mind but with Sunny’s involvement with Ghayal Returns (now Ghayal Once Again), the methods changed. Ajay would reportedly be playing the role of a Sardar and will start shooting in the second half this year. We are yet to receive any more details about the film.
