Ram Gopal Varma pays tribute to Rajinikanths Aasai Nooruvagai

New Delhi - Multitalented director, Ram Gopal Varma, has paid tribute to Tamil superstar Rajinikanths song Aasai Nooruvagai in his upcoming movie Department. He has used the song as an item number, which will be performed by Indo-Brazilian model Nathalia Kaur along with actors Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubati. The song is an inspiration composed by Ilayaraja and picturised on Rajinikanth. "The inspiration rights have been taken.. that Rajinikanth song has been one of my all time favourites and Nathalia Kaur song is a tribute to it," tweeted Varma. The item song has been composed by duo Dharam-Sandeep of Rakta Charitra fame.
