Ram Lakhan Remake: Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan Roped In?

Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty are together planning for the remake of 1989 film Ram Lakhan, which starred Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff in the lead roles. The film has been making headlines from quite some time for casting of the lead actors. The latest reports suggest that Abhishek Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan will be seen playing Ram and Lakhan in the film.

Earlier, it was being said that the Student of the Year stars, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra were roped in. Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan’s name also came into the picture later.  When Anil and Jackie were asked about their choice, they said that Ranveer Singh and the Ek Villain actor should portray their roles, respectively.

Nothing can be said to be confirmed as of now. Rumour mills are also churning that Shraddha Kapoor will be essaying the role that Madhuri Dixit played in the original. The remake of the film helmed by Subhash Ghai, will be directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar.
