‘Ranbir Is A Huge Star’: Deepika On Ranbir’s Box Office Failure

Unlike many other ex-couples of B-town, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone share a good chemistry post their break-up. It seems that the Piku fame, even after their break-up, is empathised with the Bombay Velvet actor for his repeated failures at the box office. The Finding Fanny actress thinks that her Tamasha co-actor is a “huge star”.

Hindustan Times quoted Deepika as saying, “I believe that everyone who comes on board contributes equally to the success or failure of the film. Ranbir is a huge star. Everyone has their ups and downs through their career. I don't think I am anyone to comment on what he has been through”.

Talking about her experience working with the Roy star in Imtiaz Ali’s directorial, the Cocktail actress said, “Tamasha is a very special film for all of us. We have all worked individually in a different capacity. I have done Love Aaj Kal with Imtiaz; they both (Ranbir and Imtiaz) worked together in Rockstar; Ranbir and I worked in in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Inspite of that, we all are very good friends and it was always a dream for me to work with this team”.
