Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma to star in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet

Bombay sagas seem to be the hottest favourites among the present-day filmmakers as they are up to making movies based on the city of dreams. Anurag Kashyap is one of the bright examples among them. Buzz is on that the talented filmmaker ofGangs of Wasseypurfame, Kashyap is planning to make another Bombay saga titledBombay Velvet, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.

Presently, the director is busy with one of the four stories for the May releaseBombay Talkies, celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema. The filmmaker tweeted, “For me 100 years of cinema is a time to party because Indian cinema has survived for so long and grown from strength to strength.” The official announcement has not been made yet, though the filmmaker himself revealed hisBombay Velvetplans on Twitter. So a new onscreen magic is in waiting to be created by Anurag Kashyap through a multitalented Ranbir and a spontaneous Anushka.
