Ranbir Kapoor Reveals Interesting Details About The Sanjay Dutt Biopic!

Sanjay Dutt’s biopic is creating a stir in the environment ever since it was announced after the actor was released from jail after serving for two and a half years on the account of illegal possession of arms.  While it was announced that Ranbir Kapoor will play the central character, it was announced lately that Anushka Sharma will also be a part of the flick. In a recent interview, the Kapoor lad has opened up about the film.

He said, "The biopic that Rajkumar Hirani is making will teach you something. It will talk about human flaws, the emotional father-son story (between Sanjay and the late Sunil Dutt), his relationship with his best friend, with the women in his life. It’s emotional, it’s funny, it’s sad, it’s bittersweet. The youth have a lot to learn from his mistakes. Sanjay’s lived his life. He owned up to his mistakes, he’s paid the price for it. He’s been through much… his mother (the late Nargis Dutt) passing away just before the premiere of his film, drug abuse, being labelled a terrorist, his failed marriages, the grind of punishment... We’re not trying to project Sanjay Dutt in any way, it’s not a propaganda film”.

The movie also stars Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles. Apparently, Dutt had started narrating his personal story to Hirani during the shooting of PK and somewhere in the midst of hearing the actor talk about the trials that he had undergone, Hirani decided to make a film on it. The movie, which hit the floors in the mid of January, will release on Christmas 2017.
