Ranbir Kapoor to play himself in Bhootnath Returns

The news has just poured in that actor Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing himself in Bhootnath Returns. Earlier, it was reported that the star will be doing a cameo in the movie, but nothing was revealed about his character in the flick. Now, Bhushan Kumar, co-producer of the film has confirmed the news, “Yes, that's true. Ranbir will be playing himself.”

Bhootnath Returns will be the sequel of 2008-released Bhootnath. The movie will feature Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anurag Kashyap and Usha Jadhav in the lead roles. It is also being reported that Shah Rukh Khan will also be reprising his cameo role from the first part in the next instalment. The film is expected to hit the screens in April, 2014.
