Ranbir to pair up again in Imtiaz’s upcoming film?

After Karan Johar'sYeh Jawani Hai Diwani, ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone may also work in Imtiaz Ali's next film. According to sources, Deepika will be soon finalised to play the female lead opposite Ranbir in the film that would be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. A source said, "AfterRockstar, Imtiaz was ready to wait till he got Ranbir's dates for his next directorial. He has now signed on Sajid's venture that'll go on floors next year. Ranbir being a part of the project was a foregone conclusion. And pairing him with Deepika would generate enough interest around the film."

The source added, "Imtiaz likes working with Deepika and wants her to be a part of his next film. If all goes well, Deepika will be on board at the earliest," the source said, adding, Katrina too is keen to work with Ranbir again but no filmmaker has asked her to be Ranbir's leading lady.
