Rani Mukerji gifted with a Bengali-style wedding by Aditya Chopra?

The marriage ceremony was conducted in a hush-hush for Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra far away from India, in Italy. Till date every single detail around the marriage has been kept under wraps. Recently it has been learnt that Aditya Chopra arranged a larger-than-life filmy Bengali-style wedding for his ladylove, Rani Mukerji, to make her long-lived dream come true.

Reports have revealed that Rani has always been fond of traditional Bengali wedding and her wish has been fulfilled by her dream man, Aditya, in the best possible way with utmost perfection. According to sources, Aditya made it sure that all the Bengali rituals and customs were followed. A source revealed, "Adi planned his wedding with as much precision as he does his films. He knew that his bride and her family wanted a traditional Bengali wedding, and that's what he gave them. So all rituals were completely Bengali, including the blowing of conch shells, ululation, and where the brother takes his sister on a piri (a wooden seat) around the fire. Before the ceremony started, Krishna (the bride's mother) received Adi into the family with the bor-boron ceremony." If the reports are to be believed, even a Bengali pandit was taken to Italy with them to conduct the ceremony properly. Both Rani and Aditya were clad in traditional Bengali marriage outfits and even the bong bride didn’t forget to put ‘aalta’ on her feet which is also a part of Bengali customs. Now we must say Rani had a fairy-tale wedding to be cherished forever.
