Ranveer Singh To Be Awarded Over Skype

Since Ranveer Singh is busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Befikre’ alongside Vaani Kapoor, Lata Mangeshkar has agreed to confer prestigious ‘Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar Award’ to the young heartthrob over Skype. The melody queen has made an exception for Ranveer which she had previously denied to actors such as Madhuri Dixit, Rishi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and even Zakir Hussain. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is also being honoured, will take the award on behalf of the Gunday actor.

The veteran singer asserted, “He is one of the youngest recipients of the prestigious award named after our father. He is a great actor who seems like a super positive human being. He spreads happiness wherever he goes”.

After delivering an impressive performance in Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer is shining bright like a diamond. He was recently honoured with ‘Maharashtrian of the Year’ award by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Given the amount of hard work Ranveer puts in to each of his roles, he truly deserves these rewards and awards.
