Ranveer Singh Hikes Prices after Padmaavat

Looks like Ranveer Singh is all set to increase his value in the industry, quite literally! After his performance in Padmavat, which stole millions of hearts, Ranveer has now decided to hike his price per movie. And what’s more, it looks like he wants to match the price of his rumoured better half, Deepika Padukone !

A source close to the dynamic actor said, “Hikes are the order of the day when you deliver a box office hit. Ranveer will command this price now. Had this film released all over India, his asking price would have been bigger too. As for Deepika, she charged the price since she allotted lot more days for the film, as compared to a movie that otherwise takes only 60 days of shoot. Her price for other films as Rs. 13 crore now after Padmaavat stands vindicated too.”

Well, now filmmakers will have to spend more for having the great Khilji actor on their sets! Let’s see how the industry reacts to this change. But after his superb performance in Padmavat, it is little wonder that Ranveer’s importance is set to increase in the industry.
