CONFIRMED: Ranveer Singh To Play A Cop In Rohit Shetty’s Action Film

Rumours of filmmaker Rohit Shetty collaborating with Ranveer Singh have been doing rounds for a long time now. However, the filmmaker confirmed yesterday that he will be teaming up with the actor for his next. It was also reported that the movie will be a raw action thriller.

And now the reports have surfaced that the film will be a remake of the Telugu film Temper. Ranveer will be seen playing a corrupt police officer. The story of the original film revolved around a corrupt police officer who joins hands with an influential smuggler. How his girlfriend brings about a change in him with a little help from an honest constable forms the rest of the story.

Though Ranveer Singh has been finalised as the male lead, Rohit is yet to finalised the female lead. The original film starred Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. Rohit will start shooting for the movie once he wraps up Golmaal Again. This will be first time that the 32-year-old actor will be playing a police officer.
