Director Anurag Kashyap had previously roped Raveena Tandon for his much-anticipated project Bombay Velvet. But the latest reports suggest that the actress has walked out of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer film. The 90s glamour diva says that the change in the script is the reason for her sudden exit.

“I am no longer a part of Bombay Velvet. Everything has changed. The whole scenario of movie has changed now. I had finished shooting my part too but there were a lot of changes in the sequences… So, I told Anurag that I will not do this film. I will work with him in his next project,” Raveena told media.

The actress however is not upset with Anurag, with whom she had worked in crime drama Shool. “Anurag and I are very good friends and such issues don’t matter in our friendship,” she said.

Raveena Tandon was reportedly essaying the role of a Jazz singer and marked her comeback into mainstream cinema after a long hiatus.

Based on Gyan Prakash’s book titled Mumbai Fables, the neo-noir drama shows the picture of Bombay in 1960’s.
