    Swine Flu Takes A Hold Of Bollywood!

    Bollywood actor Richa Chadha, who is gearing up for her upcoming film, Fukrey Returns, has been down with swine flu and has been on a break for the last one week. However, the actor was present at the teaser launch of Fukrey Returns, the sequel to the surprise hit Fukrey (2013), but kept her interaction to a minimum.

    Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao have also been diagnosed with the disease and have been away from public events ever since. They are being treated at their residence.

    When asked about her illness, she told Indian Express later, “Yes. I am better now. Had to go to the Fukrey event as well last night. Feeling weak, but better now.” Earlier, she posted a picture where we can see her wearing a face mask. She wrote on Instagram, “I wasn’t taking a break. so God gave me one. Hehe. #MeTime?”

    Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao could not attend the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup 2017 prize distribution programme at Balewadi on Sunday (August 6) evening as they were infected with H1N1 virus. Shah Rukh Khan attended the event on Aamir’s request. In a video message, Aamir had said, “We really wanted to attend the ceremony, but recently, after a test, I was diagnosed with H1N1, that is swine flu...I have been asked to take rest and cannot go and attend any public function so I am skipping the event so that others do not contract it.”

    Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and co-produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, Fukrey Returns also features Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh, along with Richa. Fukrey Returns is set for a theatrical release on December 8.

    Meanwhile, Richa is riding high on the success of her debut web series, Inside Edge. The actor was first recognised for Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) where she played the role of Manoj Bajpayee’s wife.
