Richa Is The Hero Of The Film: Pooja Bhatt

Pooja says that in her upcoming film Cabaret, Richa Chadda is not only playing a prominent role but the actress is indeed “the hero of the film”. “Richa's character in the film is very strong. She is the hero of the film. She is the whole and soul of the film”, she said in a statement.

Helmed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi and produced by Pooja Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar, the film marks the debut of cricketer S. Sreesanth. There have been rumours in the past that the film is inspired from the life of actress-dancer Helen. Pooja Bhatt has however denied of the rumours.

“The film is not inspired by anyone. It's based on the lives of celebrities and incidents related to the functioning of the film industry. The film is inspired by life and nothing else. It is the media which has said that it is inspired by Helen”, she said.
