Rishi Kapoor says he is tired of doing father's role as he is a competent actor

The veteran Rishi Kapoor is now tired of doing standard father's role and the actor has now confessed it in open. The60-year-old says that he wants to experiment with different roles. The actor revealed to IANS, "Not trying to be modest but I have tried to experiment with my look in different roles. I don't want to do standard father's role, I want to do characters. I would like to do characters and bring something on the table myself".

We all are familiar with his capabilities in his previous films buthisRauf Lala character inAgneepath has proved it again.Rishi says that the directors should take full advantage of me when they know that he is a competent actor. Rishi has currently worked with Atul Sabharwal on his directorial ventureAurangzeb, where he is playing a Haryanvicop. The actor has also cut his hair short to get into the character. Rishi talks about the film, "This is the second time I am playing a negative role. It's a serious family drama with crime as its backdrop".

The actor has also played a role inBesharam as well and says that it was fun."It's been good, but I still feel they need to put more of us, we have just done one sequence and by the time we realised we are working together, it was over. There was no moment of discomfort when we were working together, it was quite enjoyable. It's been great fun".
