We Will Make It Very Soon: Ritesh Sidhwani On Don 3

Farhan Akhtar directorial Don and Don 2 were blockbuster hits. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s banner Excel Entertainment produced both the parts which starred Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. While the first part released in 2006, the second part released in 2011.

And now we have some good news to share with you. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani has said that the third part of the franchise is in the cards. However, he said that they are waiting for the right script. Talking about Don 3, Ritesh said, “For any sequel or prequel or third part of a franchise film, say for Don, the character is very important… Even I am eagerly awaiting but I think we need to find the right script.”

He added, “Are we going to make it? The answer is yes. I don’t exactly know the time… We have started thinking very seriously about Don 3 and we are toying with ideas. We will make it and hopefully it will be very soon.”

Ritesh is awaiting the release of his forthcoming film Fukrey Returns that stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal , Manjot Singh and Richa Chadha in the lead roles. The film directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba is a sequel to 2013 film Fukrey. The film will release on December 15. Apart from the third instalment of Don, Ritesh also dropped a hint on Fukrey 3 .
