Rock On!! 2 Will Be Completely Different From The First, Says Farhan

It is known that Farhan Akhtar is working on the sequel to the hit 2008 film, Rock On!! Now, the actor has stated that the movie will be completely different from the original when it comes to story line. The original starred Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Luke Kenny and Farhan as the lead actors.

Farhan revealed, “It's completely a new story, but of course the characters remain the same”. He continued, “There is a history of what happened in the first film but there is nothing really from the first film that is carried forward into this film”. The returning cast will include Arjun, Prachi Desai and Purab.

Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, Rock On!! 2 will hit the screens on November 11. The movie has also found a new cast member in Shraddha Kapoor. It is being produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani. Abhishek Kapoor has written the script for the film.
