Actor Luke Kenny, who rose to fame with the 2008 hit Rock On! is back to his old passion – direction. The Delhi-bred actor, who earlier directed 13th Floor (2006) and Rise of the Zombie (2013), has been busy directing two back-to-back short films - Goodluck Café and Stephen King. While Goodluck Cafe has popular Marathi actor Milind Pathak and Zeeshan Ayub (of Ranjhana fame) in a pivotal roles, Stephen King is a quirky outing. It stars actor Yuvraj Singh and television veteran Rajiv Mehta, who played the comic character of Praful in the TV drama, Khichdi.

Talking about his experience, Kenny says, “The experience (of directing a film) is always invigorating. It’s a wonderful opportunity to be able to create an experience that entertains on various levels. I have always looked at acting and directing as two sides of the same coin. It's just how you flip that coin is what makes it interesting,” says Kenny, who also wants to make big commercial films, some day. “There are many actors with whom it would be really interesting to work with though it all depends on the story and the characters,” he adds.

Meanwhile, buzz is also that Kenny, who played the role of a rock musician Rob Nancy in Abhisekh Kapoor's 2008 hit Rock On! alongside Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli, will also make a comeback in its sequel.
