Rohit Roy To Turn Director For A Well-known Filmmaker

Rohit Roy confirmed the news of going behind the camera. The actor would soon turn a full-fledged director and will direct a film for a prominent filmmaker of the country. The film is said to roll out next year.

The 47-year-old actor during a Star Nite in Mumbai said, “This year was interesting because in the first six months I did what I've been doing since so many years - acting and in the last six months I have finished the script of my film which I'll be directing in the next year.” Other than daily soaps, Rohit has acted in films like, Dus Kahaniyaan, Shootout at Lokhandwala and Fashion among others. The actor stayed mum when asked about the details of the film, “I can't say much about it right now. The producer's film released recently and has become a very big hit and he'll be revealing the details.”  

As per reports, Rohit might be referring to Sanjay Leela Bhansali whose latest release Bajirao Mastani is doing well at the box-office. The actor added, “It's a matter of great pride for me that such a big maker thought I was capable to make a film for his company. So I'm hoping that the coming year is more interesting and that I'm able to present the film to you.”
