Rohit Shetty Didn’t Expect ‘Golmaal Again’ To Perform So Well

The fourth installment in the ‘Golmaal’ franchise, ‘Golmaal Again’, hit the screens on October 30. The movie is still running in some theatres and has crossed the 200 crore mark domestically. The director recently shared that the flick has exceeded his expectations.

He said that more than him, the people in his office are excited for the success of ‘Golmaal Again’. “Seeing them smile and laugh is the most heartening thing for me”, Rohit shared. He added, “When I first saw the final edit, I knew it would do well; but I didn't expect it to do so well. I have been watching the film with the audience at different theatres in Mumbai”.

‘Golmaal Again’ brings back the gang, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu. This time around, Parineeti Chopra has also joined their ranks. Rohit also credits every single person involved in the making of the film for its success. He is now working on the remake of the Telugu film ‘Temper’.
